Who knew Chai could look this good?

What elements define this makeup look?

-    I would describe the elements that define this makeup look as simple, warm, and perfect for autumn. This would fall under the idea of a “clean girl”, everyday makeup look. The reference only had a total of 4 makeup products in it, so it would be great for those on the go! I love how natural the skin is with just a luminous base and blush!

What are your tips for recreating the look?

-    Keep it simple and choose the right colors of products for this makeup look! Choose something on the warmer, red brown side. Also do not be afraid to let your natural skin texture peak through.

What products do you recommend?

-   The makeup look is basically set up in a few steps: glowy base, blush, and lip gloss. For a glowy base, I really recommend Catrice’s Soft Glam Filter Fluid, it's been a favorite of mine and my friends. It has a slight skin tint to it (with a lovely array of shades to match most skin tones) and it has the perfect gorgeous glow to it. Not to mention its affordable at only $10, vegan, cruelty free, and ideal for those with any skin sensitivities. The blush is a super important part of this look! For a liquid formulation, try Catrice’s Blush Affair Cream and Powder Blush in “040 Peach Passion.” It blends like an absolute dream and is the perfect warm blush shade for the Chai Latte Look. For a warm toned gloss to finish the Chai latte look off, try Catrice’s NEW Gloss Obsessed Lip Glaze in “Gloss and Found”,

this gloss will literally look beautiful on all skin tones and gives the lips the perfect chai latte touch. This gloss is amazingly shiny, non sticky, comfortable on the lips, and a deal at only $7.

How do you determine whether or not you need to color correct?

-   In my opinion, everyone needs to color correct because no one has completely even skin. There is always discoloration under the eyes and in other areas of the face. In my almost decade of makeup artistry, I have never seen someone without some darkness under their eyes, it's just natural!

What are your tips for covering dark circles (skin prep, application, etc.)

-    My recommendation for covering dark circles is to start with skin prep, specifically a great eye cream. For one that works well under makeup, I recommend Catrice’s Caffiene Kick Under Eye Serum, the formula is gel-like and thin, ideal for the delicate under eye area. After letting the product soak into the skin, go over with a color correcting product, I usually do a cream or a liquid formulation. My current favorites are the Catrice Under Eye Brightener Liquids, a shade for every skintone, and the formulation is thin, lightweight, but still covers all discoloration! After that color corrector is blended out completely, go over with a bit of concealer. For the under eyes area I like to use a concealer that is one to two shades lighter than the complexion. Pick a concealer formulation that is thin and hydrating, as the under eyes are the thinnest skin on the face. I love to use Catrice’s True Skin High Cover Concealer for those reasons! You only need a little product once you have properly color corrected the under eyes. To make the products stay in place all day and night, set the area with a pressed or loose powder. If you’re looking for an affordable option, Catrice’s Under Eye Brightener Setting Powder is finely milled and further helps color correct any discoloration on the under eyes.

What formulas and colors work best for covering dark circles?

-    The formulas and colors that work best for covering dark circles depend on the color of discoloration and your skintone. Usually the undereyes are more purple, so in order to correct that, use peach to orange correctors, unless you are more fair, in that case choose a more pink option.
